The Moons gravity is about 17% that of Earth

Gravity on the moon is around 17% that of the Earth. This means objects weight around a 5th of their usual weight on Earth.

Javier Sotomayor, from Cuba, holds the world record for the highest high jump at 8 feet 0.46 inches. On the Moon, its safe to calculate that Javier would be able to jump around 47 feet and 2.92 inches or over 14.4 metres. Thats around the height of a four story building, or a giraffe standing on its hind legs.
