A fresh start

After 13 years of owning this domain, I’ve decided it’s time for a fresh start. The old website, while once a great resource, had become restrictive. I had carved out a niche for short-form tutorials, but over time, that format stopped being interesting to me. It felt limiting, and let’s be honest—technology moves fast. A lot of what I wrote is now outdated, incorrect (hey, everyone makes mistakes), or easily answered in far greater detail by AI tools like ChatGPT.

If you are one of the 1,200 monthly visitors who have landed here from a Google search expecting a specific tutorial, I can only apologize. The content you were looking for is no longer here. But don’t worry—there are now better resources out there that can likely give you the answer you need.

So, where does that leave this site? While AI is great at answering common technical questions, it still lacks something crucial—real-world experience. That’s where I come in. Moving forward, I’ll be focusing on content that AI can’t replace: real-world problem-solving, lessons learned from hands-on development, and the unpredictable challenges that come with building software in the real world.

This isn’t just a reboot—it’s a shift in direction. Let’s see where it goes.
