Samsung Galaxy S2, S3, S4 Indicating a message, even though there isn’t one – (Solved)

indictatorIs your messaging app indicating a message in your inbox even though you have no unread messages? Well here is the solution (brought to you by askmefast.com)

Head to settings, then scroll down to find application manager. Scroll to the right until you reach the page All. Locate Badge-provider, click on clear data, if you cannot click clear data then first hit force stop, then you should be able too.

After restart your phone. Problem solved? It should have work if not feel free to leave a comment and we will try and find a new solution.

  7. S111, I get Message Alert Tone, But NO Message, This is a Fauls signal coming through, ??????. All works Normally with genuine TXTs, any Ideas, PLZ,

    I don’t have an “all” or “badge provider” in the application manager on my S4 running lollipop. Now what?
